Fragmentation of the Family

As we all know, the number of broken families nowadays is very large and increasing. People make hasty decisions, not really considering whether or not they truly love a person, whether they are willing to spend the rest of their lives with their partner. In these cases, separation is being used as an escape route. But is separation really the right choice to make? After all, what of the children, if they have any? Many children are traumatized by their parents' separation. They will grow up missing a key figure in their life: a mother or a father. Left unchecked, they can turn to drugs, smoking, drinking, and other vices. All in all, the value of a whole family decreases.

So what would be the root cause of all this? Should the presence of divorce and annulment be blamed? Personally, I don't think so. Although it is a factor, I think what really causes the fragmentation of families is the lack of careful thought and planning. If you are want to marry a person, make sure that you want to be with them for the rest of your life. If not, someday the person that you once loved might become the person you hate the most. Never forget the future of your children once you have them. It's not only you and your partner that will be affected by splits in the relationship.

  1. I hope a lot of young people out there will have the same opinion about relationships. Families are really very important. I'm sure your parents are very proud of you! :)
